Club Partner and Paid Registration Addendum

My Tennis Ladder LLC (“My Tennis Ladder,” “we,” “us”) provides the software. The club operates its ladders and tournaments. This addendum covers player registration payments only. The Terms and Conditions still govern use of the service. If this addendum and the Terms conflict on a payment matter, this addendum controls for the club.

Enabling paid registrations for a club, or continuing to offer a paid ladder or tournament after the effective date, is the club's acceptance of this addendum. The person who administers the club represents that they are authorized to bind the club.

My Tennis Ladder is the merchant of record. Players pay My Tennis Ladder LLC through Stripe Checkout. The charge appears on the player's statement as My Tennis Ladder. Stripe does not pay the club, and the club is not a connected Stripe account for these charges.

We record each successful payment on an internal ledger: the gross amount the player paid, My Tennis Ladder's platform fee, and the club's share. The club's share is an amount we owe the club. It is not a Stripe transfer.

The platform fee percent is the percent saved in that club's paid registration settings. We calculate it on the amount the player is charged, after any promo code. The remainder of that amount is the club's ledger share.

A change to the percent applies to checkouts started after the change is saved. It does not recalculate payments already collected.

Stripe's processing fee on a successful card charge is paid by My Tennis Ladder. It is taken from our Stripe balance. It is not deducted from the club's ledger share.

Stripe does not return that processing fee when a charge is refunded. The unrecovered fee stays with My Tennis Ladder. It is not deducted from the club's other ledger share.

We pay the club's ledger share ourselves, outside Stripe, to the bank account the club gives us in writing. There is no automatic payout from Stripe to the club.

Unless we confirm a different schedule with the club in writing, we pay the club share collected in a calendar month within thirty (30) days after that month ends. Before paying, we subtract refunds and chargebacks already applied to that club's ledger, and we wait until Stripe has settled the underlying charges to My Tennis Ladder.

The player refund rules in the Terms apply unless the club publishes a different written policy for a specific ladder or tournament. The club decides whether a refund is due. My Tennis Ladder processes an approved refund through Stripe.

A full refund removes that registration's platform fee and club share from the amounts owed. A partial refund reduces the platform fee and the club share in proportion to the amount refunded. If we have already paid the club for that registration, the club owes the reversed club share back, and we may deduct it from a later payout.

My Tennis Ladder is the merchant on the Stripe charge and handles the payment dispute in Stripe. The club will promptly send registration records, published rules, and any other evidence we ask for. On-court conduct, eligibility, and ladder or tournament results stay with the club.

If a chargeback reverses a registration payment, the reversed player payment is removed from the club's ledger share. Stripe's dispute fee and any other chargeback cost on that payment are also deducted from the club's ledger share. If those amounts are more than the club's unpaid share, the club owes My Tennis Ladder the difference.

Prices shown for a ladder or tournament are exclusive of sales tax. Checkout charges the displayed registration amount and does not add sales tax unless we have enabled tax collection for that payment. If we enable tax collection, checkout may add applicable sales tax at payment time, on top of the displayed price. Tax collected that way is not part of the platform fee or the club's ledger share.

The club is responsible for telling us about sales or service taxes it believes apply to its fees. My Tennis Ladder does not provide tax advice. Income tax on the amount we pay the club is the club's responsibility. Income tax on the platform fee is ours.

We may update this addendum. If a change is material, we will post the updated addendum and take reasonable steps to notify the club's administrators. Continuing to offer paid registrations after the update means the club accepts the updated addendum.
