Terms and Conditions
These terms explain the rules for using My Tennis Ladder as a player, club administrator, or platform administrator.
1. Who we are
My Tennis Ladder provides white-label competition software for tennis clubs. Clubs use the platform to manage branded club sites, members, ladders, rankings, challenges, match results, tournaments, announcements, courts, paid registrations, scouting-report feedback, and administrative workflows.
The person responsible for general product, privacy, and support contact is Vicente Ramirez at vicente@garat.dev. Commercial and business inquiries should go to Ransley Carpio at rkcarpio@gmail.com.
2. Clubs and local rules
Each club is responsible for its own members, admins, ladders, tournament rules, court rules, codes of conduct, eligibility decisions, fee decisions, dispute decisions, and offline operations. Those club rules are separate from these Terms and may also apply to your participation.
If you use the service on behalf of a club or organization, you represent that you are authorized to manage that club's account and member data. Club admins are responsible for getting any permissions required before inviting players or entering player information.
3. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must provide accurate account information, including your name, email address, and any phone number you choose or are required to provide for match coordination. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Clubs that invite junior players are responsible for obtaining any required parental or guardian consent before asking those players to use My Tennis Ladder.
4. Registration and legal consent
Creating an account, accepting an invite, signing in through a supported authentication provider, joining a ladder, registering for a tournament, or continuing to use the service means you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. We may require renewed acceptance when the Terms or Privacy Policy change.
5. Electronic communications
By creating an account, accepting an invite, or continuing to use the service, you agree that My Tennis Ladder and your club may send you service-related communications. These may include email verification, password reset messages, invite notices, challenge notifications, match updates, club announcements, administrative messages, and support responses.
6. Player contact information
Tennis ladders depend on players being able to coordinate matches. When you provide a phone number, you agree that it may be shown to other members of clubs you belong to, club administrators, and platform administrators for match coordination, member management, and support. Your email address may be used for account access, security, service notifications, club administration, and support.
7. Ladders, tournaments, scores, and feedback
Club administrators control club-specific ladder settings, divisions, tournament settings, memberships, announcements, court lists, disputes, payment settings, and administrative decisions. You agree to submit accurate match results and to use challenge, registration, confirmation, dispute, scouting-report, and leave-of-absence features in good faith.
Rankings and match histories may change based on confirmed results, forfeits, inactivity rules, administrator decisions, or corrections. My Tennis Ladder may rely on club administrators to resolve disputes and enforce local ladder rules.
8. Payments, fees, and refunds
Some ladders or tournaments may require paid registration through Stripe Checkout. My Tennis Ladder is the merchant for platform-collected player payments. Clubs may receive internal ledger credit or manual reconciliation according to business arrangements outside the player checkout flow.
Unless a club or written agreement states otherwise, entry fees, refunds, credits, withdrawals, taxes, and disputes are handled according to the relevant club's rules and applicable payment-provider rules. My Tennis Ladder does not store full payment card numbers.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse anyone.
- Submit false scores, fake accounts, or misleading player information.
- Access another person's account or attempt to bypass security controls.
- Scrape, copy, or export member information except as allowed for legitimate club administration.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the service.
- Use the service in a way that violates law, club rules, or the rights of others.
10. Safety and offline play
My Tennis Ladder helps players coordinate tennis matches, but it does not supervise matches, courts, travel, player conduct, weather, or physical activity. You are responsible for deciding whether, where, and with whom to play. Use reasonable care, follow club and court rules, and stop play if conditions are unsafe.
11. Club and user content
You and your club may submit profile details, ratings, announcements, ladder and tournament settings, challenge responses, match scores, dispute notes, scouting-report selections, payment ledger context, and related content. You grant My Tennis Ladder the limited right to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
12. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers for hosting, database, authentication, email, infrastructure, payment processing, analytics or diagnostics, and similar operational needs. Your use of features that rely on those providers may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or limit access if we believe an account is being used in a way that violates these Terms, creates risk for the service or other users, or is required by law. Club administrators may also remove members from their club or ladders according to club rules.
14. Service changes and availability
We may change, add, or remove features over time. We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that any specific feature will remain available.
15. No professional advice
My Tennis Ladder does not provide legal, medical, coaching, fitness, ranking-certification, or tournament-governance advice. Any ratings, rankings, and statistics in the service are for club ladder management and player convenience.
16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, My Tennis Ladder disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent allowed by law, My Tennis Ladder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, or offline disputes arising from use of the service.
17. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated Terms in the service or requiring renewed acceptance. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Contact
